Artist's Comments
Taking steps to greatest heights,
Can you bear to see the sight? Ambition and self-criticism is a both deadly and progressive combination. By choosing the path of an artist you have to be willing to bear your mistakes and prepare for another one, for every work can be failure just as well as success. And all this time you have to remain honest with yourself and others. Every piece of art you create is a piece of yourself. Well, one work leads to another. I felt like having reached a standstill. Just needed to try out some new colours and techniques. Adobe Photoshop 7, original size 4000x6000, hours? ... no idea ------------------------------------------------------------- Many thanks to *impressionenmeer and ^silentkitty, who made this a Daily Deviation, it's still so unbelievable. And thanks for all the comments and favs, you guys are amazing! Daily DeviationGiven 2006-02-15Amazing technical skill and great imagination combine in Self-Consciousness by ~ayle to bring us a wonderfully crafted piece. I also like the concept, for some reason (at least for me) it's much more Valentines day themed than anything else I've seen today.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, youre a mile away and you have their shoes.
